Coldplay Paradise Project

Posted December 12, 2011 at 09:07PM

If you folks remember, I was in the Bay Area of California for the Estria Graffiti Battle Invitational week of events earlier this year. For all you Coldplay fans out there, while there, I got picked up by an advertising agency firm to beatbox a recording for a Coldplay project on their song "Paradise." It was a lot of fun to work on, but unfortunately that project got canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.

It's not the first time a recording project I've worked on did not see the light of da…

Pray for Japan

Posted March 15, 2011 at 07:11AM

My prayers goes out to Japan! I know that recent current events is affecting many of us one way or another. Relief efforts are being worked on as I type on the Hawaii end. Hawaii also had tsunami warning sirens go off like crazy last week and a lot is happening.

Life of a beatboxer does not stop though and as tough as it is I needed to follow through with my pre-engagements. On Saturday, March 12th at 8:00AM HST I was invited weeks in advance to guest judge the Worldwide Ventrilo Beatbox Battle o…

Happy 2011 to All

Posted January 2, 2011 at 09:13AM

Happy 2011 to all!! It feels good to be Twenty-Eleven!

I've personally been waiting for 2011 for a long while now ever since I came back to Honolulu from NYC in September 2010. I often feel, now more than before, that time is behind and it needs to catch up. You ever felt or feel that way or is it just me?

How was your 2010? Have you reflected upon your reach of goals, dreams and aspirations in 2010?

Reflecting back: year 2010 was a productive one and I would title it the "Year of the Hustle." I…

Michael Jackson Movie Night Photo Recap:

I bought these IMAX movie tickets in advance on Wednesday, October 28th, and each came with a Michael Jackson "This Is It" movie concert tag. I caught the movie with 15 or so friends on Sunday, November 1st. My reaction: This Is Exc"It"ing.

I got to Regal Dole Cannery Stadium 18 & IMAX early to wait for friends to arrive.

Testing out lighting on a 3-year-old cam.

I am the Michael Jackson ticket go-to man for tonight.

Lighting finally starting to work. M…

Jason Tom in LA

Posted September 11, 2009 at 11:14AM

I travel, and my first trip alone to Los Angeles was no exception. I feel that travel can "expand" a person's life experience. The love I felt made me feel unquestionably the most famous beatboxer in Los Angeles and the ISA LA 2009 concert. I was originally considered to be featured in this past ISA LA 2009 concert. My fans and supporters have wrote to ISA to make it happen. I want to thank all of my supporters for pushing that.

I don't typically carry a camera with me, but I had to for LA …

Anyone caught or plan to see Mongol?

Posted July 27, 2008 at 09:17AM

Now while people have been buzzing about the Dark Knight, Wall-E, The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, Hancock, Incredible Hulk, Iron Man, Kung Fu Panda, Wanted, Hellboy II: the Golden Army, and all those other blockbuster goodies coming out. There is one Art House release that I'm most anticipating to see over any other movie coming out right now, and that is Mongol. The movie poster simply state, "The Untold Story of Genghis Khan." Since Mongol is an Art House independant film, it's only …
